PANDEMIC POSTCARDS
Throughout 2021-22, we placed pandemic postboxes and postcards around community hubs and cultural spaces, asking you to tell us what your lockdown looked like. The postcards we received tell lots of different stories – check them out below!
Content warning: Some of these postcards contain reflections on addiction, self-harm, grief, trauma relating to religion and family relationships, and mental health conditions (inc. depression, anxiety, OCD). Please take care when viewing. We advise taking regular breaks to process what you’re reading.

Many thanks to: Ben’s Centre, Broomhall Centre, Common Ground Community Centre, DINA, Foodhall, John St Kitchen, Sharrow Community Forum, Sheffield Creative Guild, Shirecliffe Community Centre, Site Gallery, and Together Women Project, for kindly hosting our postboxes and supporting this project.
